Stripes&Polka Dots

I think I can be summed up by the following: Obsessed with sparkly accessories, stripes and ruffles. Furry animal lover. Loyal friend & awesome auntie. Always have the travel bug. Makeup junkie. Expert on useless celebrity gossip. Arizona Wildcats #1 fan. Living the life in San Diego at the beach.

Best work buddy ever. No goodbyes, just see you later!

Sometimes you write off a friend. Maybe they were flaky more than a couple of times. Or you just fell out of touch, living in different cities, different states. This used to be an important person in your life, someone you clicked with and shared many, many hilarious memories with. You chalk it up to life and wish them well, not expecting for a friendship to be rekindled….

and sometimes you are pleasantly surprised when they pop back in with fun, exciting life updates. And you realize there are very few times in life that you can completely write someone off because they usually end up popping up again somewhere along the journey….what a comforting thought.

Waiting 20 minutes just to get on a shuttle, 45 minutes to get to work via 7 miles.

Is it weird that “awesome Mexican food” is one of my top sads about leaving SD?

Love Gwennie.

This quote basically is my life right now. Focusing on what I will gain, not what I am losing as I get ready to leave San Diego, my home of the last four years.
